The Little Artist Big Artist auction showcases student creations from professionally mentored East Austin elementary students. The sale of their work benefits their school’s art program. These pieces are on view all weekend with the bidding ending at 4:00pm Sunday.

The Little Artist Big Artist program provides an opportunity for the students to celebrate creativity, develop personal expression, and strengthen social skills while engaging in positive adult communication in an after- school setting.

At the end of the program, the Little Artist keeps one work of art, and the second is featured in a public art show in May, then auctioned at the Cherrywood Art Fair. Students learn basic business skills of selling their art and then donate the proceeds back to their school’s art program.
